Dancing under the moonlight, our afterschool art program at McGovern Elementary School unveils wonderful pastel Snowmen inspired by the book "Snowmen at Night" by Karalyn Buehner and breathtaking Full Moon Owls crafted with pastels and watercolors. A salute to Ms. Noelle Jackson, our talented art instructor!

Such a great time at CraftRoots Brewing Company ! Local Artist, Amanda Carretta, guided the group on how to paint their adorable pets! Thanks to all who participated.

Exciting, team-building activity while waiting for after school classes to begin. Students were able join a group and build a tall sculpture using the "BIG BLUE BLOCKS". Students showed kindness and cooperation during this FUN activity!


Mrs. Kelly, Memorial's 3rd grade teacher, leads this fun after school class. Rainbow Loom is a great opportunity to be creative and make new friends!


Mrs. Jewer, from Kids Test Kitchen, is teaching the students about healthy eating. Each week, the students make a delicious recipe. This week, the students made Boston lettuce wraps with ground chicken and lots of spices. Yummy!


Chris, from Athena Coding, is an awesome storyteller! These students are engaged, using their imaginations, and practicing communication skills. What a great afternoon hanging out with friends!


Mr. Suttle is teaching our trombone players some new music today: Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and Jingle Bells. Great job 4th graders!


The students in Mrs. Carlson's after school class, Creating Art with Math, are learning about reflective symmetry, proportion, and fractions. They are creating some beautiful self portraits.
