We had such an amazing time at our Wednesday Early Release Game Day Party! 🎉 The kids enjoyed everything—from board games and kick ball, to a 'human' game of Connect Four, as well as painting, and building their own ice cream sundaes! Thanks so much to everyone who joined the fun and made the day special!
One of the highlights of the party was the "Create Your Own Lava Lamp" craft station. Imagine a sea of bottles, glitter, food coloring, and fizzy tablets, all waiting to be transformed into mesmerizing, bubbling wonders!
Our Fall Kempo Karate class with Master Julie Guido and Master Christine Howard finished up their six-week program Nov. 21. Both levesl learned self-defense techniques, with the advanced level focused on more difficult age-appropriate self-defense techniques. They learned important life skills, such as confidence, self-control, and patience. The students were tested to demonstrate the skills they had learned during the program., and at the conclusion of the test, students earned their rank, and earned either a stripe or a belt.
🐸💚 Week 4: Toad-ally Awesome!
Our 2nd–4th grade artists went wild with color painting bright poison dart frogs! 🎨🌿 Using bold watercolor layers, these tiny jungle jumpers came to life in every shade of blue, green, and gold. 💦✨
This week jungle animal was a whacky lion! The kids did a great job!
The kids just love this SNAPOLOGY Star Wars-inspired program, exploring the basics of robotics while digging into their favorite parts of the Star Wars movies - the machines! Partner groups are taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different simple machines come together to build their robots, and how to use word-block programming to bring them to life. May the force be with them as they build and grow!
