Beginner Knitting ~ Looking for a cozy hobby this winter? Come learn how to knit! Gabrielle Belisle and her program will teach you everything you need to know to get started as a new knitter and begin your own crafting journey at home. We will be making a hat and scarf set, and you learn how to read a pattern, cast on, knit, purl, decrease, work in the round, troubleshoot, and cast off. Knitting also has the benefit of reducing stress and anxiety and improving motor function. All notions will be provided in the class fee, but we ask you to please bring a weight 4 (worsted weight) yarn of your choice in a solid mid-toned color. Please avoid black and deep blue as it can be hard to see your stitches. No class February 18.

Learn to Crochet ~ Come learn to crochet with ‘Tricia G Creates’! Whether you have never held a crochet hook before or need a refresher, everyone is invited. Returning participants will create more challenging pieces. This hands-on class will teach you the basics stitches and techniques to get yourself started on your crocheting journey. You will learn how to hold a hook and yarn; beginner/basic stitches, including chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet stitches; and crochet pattern reading basics. By the end of the session, you can expect to complete one or two projects and be well-equipped for future crochet endeavors. All materials included for two projects. No class February 19.
