Course Code W11-26  - Looking for a cozy hobby this winter? Come learn how to knit!  Instructor Gabrielle Belisle will teach you everything you need to know to get started as a new knitter and begin your own crafting journey at home. We will be making a hat and scarf set, and you learn how to read a pattern, cast on, knit, purl, decrease, work in the round, troubleshoot, and cast off. Knitting also has the benefit of reducing stress and anxiety and improving motor function. All notions will be provided in the class fee, but we ask you to please bring a weight 4 (worsted weight) yarn of your choice in a solid mid-toned color. Please avoid black and deep blue as it can be hard to see your stitches. No class February 18.
