SU1-25 SUMMER ART CLUB - Join Medway Art Teacher, Ms. Jackson, as we explore various media to create unique, summer-inspired artwork during this fun week of creativity! We will be exploring printmaking as a media and will create oil pastel prints, tin foil monoprints, Styrofoam prints, and 3D leaf bowls with air dry clay. We will also use watercolors and acrylics to create interesting summer-themed paintings. Halfway through the morning, we will take breaks to play on the playground, take nature walks and enjoy a snack together, then get back to artmaking. One to two pieces will be created each day. This exciting new collage art program provides all art enthusiasts the opportunity to learn about design, composition, layering, textures, and storytelling through the use of Mixed Media - paper, fabric, paint, magazines and more! The benefits of collage art include problem solving, independence, creativity, concentration and fun!
